EXAMPLE OF COMBINATION UNCAPPING MACHINE + DIRECT MELTER DISOMELTER is a compact professional machine consisting of the "Giordan" uncapping machine with heated vibrating knives (code 170K) and the direct wax melter. The machine is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel and works by means of guided passage of the frames through two water-heated vibrating knives that allow to obtain a precise and optimal cut of the operculum. With the uncapping machine the opercula are not crumbled but cut, as with the use of a manual knife. With the addition of the double blade kit (charged separately) there is no need to re-trim the frames after the uncapping process. The knives are heated by a hot water heating and recycling unit (included in the machine) and the temperature of the knives can be regulated by a thermostat. The knives also work inside the wooden frame of the combs and can therefore uncaulk even unfilled frames. Knife adjustment is quick and easy by means of a lever located on the side of the uncapping machine that allows tightening or widening the passage between the knives. The combs introduced manually are automatically guided and inserted between the blades in order to obtain regular and systematic uncapping on both sides. After the uncapping process, the frames are stored by sliding them onto the frame. An uncapping bench can be placed under the frame as in the picture (the length of the frame varies according to the length of the bench). After uncapping, the operculum is collected in the direct wax melter underneath the uncapping machine. The function of the direct wax melter is to separate the operculum from the honey and directly generate melted wax. As a result, clean melted wax and honey are discharged from two separate drains. In this way, two processes are completed in a single process. The direct wax melter is equipped with a double regulation (one for controlling the temperature of the honey, and the other for regulating the temperature of the melting of the operculum) and with a double outlet (one dedicated to honey and the other to the discharge of wax). The machine is equipped with a simple and functional and functional control panel.
